This song was written and originally recorded by Dave “Curlee” Williams and James Faye “Roy” Hall, but the cover by Jerry Lee Lewis is the best known. It might be so because Lewis' interpreta-tion is downright lascivious. By the time he get’s to “got the bull by the horn” everyone under-stands he’s not talking about the barnyard here.
